That helped Sam who by this time was close to the entrance. When she had got there she quickly and quietly started to climb around the mouth and onto the surface above. She then sat there overlooking the surface panting and sorting her mind.

The piece of paper began to get hotter. Time was running out.

Sam noted and began a run towards a nearby clearing, a large one at that.

[Kane]

The Ghouls had been following her every step of the way. And were still invisible yet hot on her tail.

Sam arrived near the clearing and got out the beacon and activated it. It started to flash red as she placed it in the middle of the clearing. She then ran back to the edge, but she could see the red flashing.

[Kane]

The Ghouls watched with interest. It was at this time that the red piece of paper floate din fromnt of Sam razzed her then exploded into flames.

"gah!" came Sam's comment at it, that was when she looked up, a Dropship was coming down towards the clearing. "Now that's a friendly sight." came her comment.

[Kane]

The Ghouls continued watching.

After a little bit of a hover, the dropship opened it's hatch and Sam quickly ran over and boarded before it took off. The beacon's red light died out and when the dropship left it blew up. A standard once only beacon.

[Kane]

THe Ghouls left to give their report.

--Time skip 1 day later--

On Sam's suggestion, a dropship arrived at the same clearing, this time. Cho and Sam disembarked along with a command vehicle and two squads of infantryman. they had flown over the nearby town on purpose to see what would happen. Cho setup a table and two chairs while Sam a perimeter. Sam had changed back into her normal armour and was looking out. Long got out a PDA and began to work on it, they were waiting to see what would happen.

Nothing spectacular really occurred. The kingdom was busy doing other things.

"Intriguing." Cho commented. "Setup the mineral anaylser." Cho ordered. Another dropship came in, this time dropping off a radar type device on a vehicle. It moved to the edge of the perimeter and began to send sonic pulses down below.

[Kane]

Beneath lay the tunnel network, it stretch on for miles. Meanwhile several soldiers had gathered to together, the corporations appearance had not gone unnoticed.

Cho was looking "well, well." she commented. "Somebody's built an extensive network. She was also looking at what else, mainly minerals in those mines."

[Kane]

The Gold and Platinum mines lay quit a way away and had the most activity going on in them.

Cho then began to search for titanium and plutonium in the area. Although Gold and platinum made her mind go Kerching, she also had to think of minerals the corporation could use for ATU's and AAU's.

[Kane]

The plutonium and titanium mines lay to the east.

Cho smiled, that was her target. But first, she needed to chat with the locals, she requested a thermal sweep from the abriel so that she could see who was approaching.

[Kane]

The guards had been unable to gather before being sent to extra guard duty with Titanium and plutonium mines after reports of attempted thefts by bandits. So the small army marched to the east.

Cho smiled at the thermal scan. "Interesting." came Cho's reply as she signalled Sam over. "Pack up, we're moving." "Madam?" "You heard, head to this location." Sam saluted. "Secure the veins and we'll be a better position to neogotiate." Sam saluted as the perimeter packed up.

[Kane]

The army had come to a stop and had since finished disposing of a few daring bandits. Now they could only wait.

The dropship flew overhead. This time they were checking for a clear zone. only real one was right next to the seams, which the dropship did so. Sam looked out, talk of a welcome wagon. was her only thought.

[Kane]

The guards watched them ready to fight. Some had swords other had bows arrows and crossbows, some had primitive guns other had spells ready.

"This is a restricted area I suggest you leave" Th commander said

Sam climbed out via a hatch onto her command vehicle's roof. "Really. Kinda gathered that. Look I have my orders, you have yours, fair's fair." she told them. "but my boss would really like to meet whoever's your leader, if you can do that, then we'll pull out and everything's peachy."
